Mine too! For some reason, I never thought of using dye! (Pockets of stupidity in my otherwise intelligent mind!)
Which dye did you use, Lizzy?

I bought the dye at joanns.. I did some more dying tonight- lime green and blue. Michaels and joanns both have a fabric dye (I think it's called rit or something like that) but I haven't tried it cuz the colors look VERY dull and boring. The hot pink was Dylon (joanns) flamingo pink. That brand has very vibrant colors, it's great. I used that brand for the blue too but for the lime green I tried Tulip (michaels), another brand with vibrant colors.
I'm working on making patterns right now, and I'm gonna sell patterns and kits (with the dyed fabric) in my etsy shop too.
Working on some new ideas too.. Can't wait to share!

Oooh I've often wanted to try dying my own fabric (since I live in the middle of nowhere, it's impossible to find Aida in any color other than white)! Are you able to wash the fabric after dyeing and stitching?

I've started putting together all my patterns on my computer and getting them posted in my shop. Right now I've got this on there as a kit, including a square of the pink fabric (and pre cut adhesive board for framing). I'll be listing just the patterns soon. So glad that everyone likes this!!
