Just a small filler project...

I'm actually trying to start making a few cross stitches to sell on Etsy, so I'm trying to finish up this small piece my wife's aunt gave me the other day. Hope to finish it up tonight, but this is where I am right now.

Finished the house, and decided to frame it a little differently. Working on the Matte now...

Ok, so after I finished stitching the little house, it was suggested to me that I frame it with a matte. So, my brain started spinning, and I thought why not make a matte out of another cross stitch? This is what I came up with

Thanks guys. I was a little worried with the house being so colorful and the matte being solid black that it might look odd, but I think now it will be ok. I'll find out for sure when I get it put together tonight though!
