Hi all :)
I've used the Sprite Stitch blog for information and designs for a few months now, occasionally dropping by the forums for more specific searches. I figured I should start 'giving back' to the community in a sense, so here we go.

My name is Liam, I'm 22 years old and I live in Perth, Western Australia.
I used to cross-stitch as a child with my mother, and have only just gotten back into the hobby over the past 6 months. To cut a long story short, I got back into it while I was traveling in China and I saw some of the women in my group cross-stitching. I joined in and enjoyed :p

Ideally it's something that I would like to be able to make money from doing... but I don't know how realistic that goal is :( Currently investigating how I might stitch or glue some of my cross-stitches onto my shoes... :)

Wow. I totally missed this the first time in here.

I'm TAB. Short for Tabitha. Most people call me Tabby.
I love video games, zombies, arts and crafts, reading and video games. Did I mention I love zombies?

Hello =]
I just found this site last night and decided to join the forum today.
I used to cross-stitch long ago and this place is really great =]
I do a lot of video game related crafts, from custom dolls, outfits, plushies, perler beads, etc.
Nice meeting you all ;)

My name is Adam, I am from Winnipeg Manitoba.

I enjoy cross-stitching, I make some designs myself, and then i also do designs based off of existing sprites.

My own designs i have been working on are all based on DC comic characters, the ones I make of existing sprites are based mostly in the "fighter" genre. Most of the characters I have done are from king of fighters, though i have done some from street fighter, Darkstalkers, Samurai Spirits and Last blade..

I joined to maybe share and get inspiration.

The project I am working on is to do every single character from the above mentioned games, right now I have just over 40 characters complete, and also to try and make a larger database of dc characters

Hi everyone,

My name is Kristen, I’m 27 and live in Ontario, Canada. I’ve been lurking on the boards for a while and thought I should introduce myself.

I stumbled onto this site after seeing Servotron’s Zelda map (amazing) on Geekologie and thought that video-game cross-stitching was something I HAD to do :nod

I’m hoping to have something done soon so I can post it.

Anyway, I love seeing everyone’s stuff on the boards so keep up the good work!

Hello my name is Curtis and I live in British Columbia, Canada. I started half cross stitching on plastic canvas when they taught me how to in a class in high school and I've been doing it ever since. I only did x stitch on fabric canvas with kits until I happened upon this site and it filled me with a hunger for making my own patterns. I'm currently working the Glass Joe pattern I found on the blog and tinkering with a couple of sprite patterns of my own but they aren't quite right yet.

Hello, my name is Amanda. I am 21 and I live in British Columbia, Canada. I have been checking out the site for a while now but just recently started checking out the Forums.

I have been cross stitching for years, mostly using the kits bought at most craft/hobby stores. I have recently started my first gaming related cross stitch which is the Secret of Mana pattern that was on this site. ^^

My other gaming related projects that are completed: an Animal Crossing:Wild World flower pot and a seed-beaded bookmark/wall hanging of the eight-bit sprites of Link, Mario, Black Mage, and Blue Slime in honor of the 20th anniversary of the NES.

Nice to meet you all.

Hi all, my name is Sherona, I'm 27 and I live in Durham, UK. I love video games, cross stitching, crafting, computers, sci fi and many other things!
Last year I had a break from stitching because I was pregnant, eventually I couldn't sit comfortably enough and had a sort of temporary carpal tunnel syndrome, so was forced to put down my sewing
So, now I'm back into the crafts and enjoy doing a bit while my daughter's asleep :)
I've lurked around Sprite stitch for a while but decided to join recently, I'm also a member of Craftster (Pigi).
I'm currently working on a large Phantasy Star project, and just finishing up on a Final Fantasy esper. Shortly I will be doing an Ivysaur from Littlemojo's patterns. I have a lot more stuff in the pipeline and I look forward to sharing them!
