Thanks :)

I found them online, via Affordable Paperweights - http://www.affordablepaperweights.com/S ... ap-155.htm

They are actually acrylic, not glass, and $3.35 is easily the best price I found on them. Of course, by the time I ordered 4 and paid shipping it was actually a little over $5 each, but still that is what most places ask before shipping.
Current Projects: Legend of Zelda Magnet Set, Mario Kart coasters (50% done - Mario and Peach finished, Yoshi and Luigi or Toad pending)
Finished Projects: Assorted Coasters, Mega Man 2 Robot Master Magnets, Angry Birds Magnets

Great thank you! The cheapest ones I could find were $6 before shipping and tax! I've got to start cracking on Christmas gifts :)

Those are very cool.

How much room do they give you inside? I mean, would something made out of perler bead fit in there?
I have some mario coasters I made several years ago out of perler beads, and I glued cork to the back of them. But recently, after years of use and water leaking through the holes in the beads, the cork now gets saturated with water and leaks.

The space for your work is 3" x 3" and 1/4" deep. I would err on the side of slightly smaller than that though - I stitched these as 40 x 40 on 14 count thread, and with the running stitch around the edge it was like 42x42 and they were a pretty tight fit. If I were doing it again I would go with 41x41 just to keep things a bit less of a tight squeeze. As for depth, I THINK perlers would fit in there but I am not 100% certain on it.

To keep your work in there, there is actually just the 3"x3"x1/4" recess in the back, and you put your stuff in there and then "seal" it up with a velvet like sticker on the back, so even if the depth wasn't quite enough you could probably make it work.

Congrats on getting on the blog!
I love those backgrounds you've done --- and I love OneChordWonder, I saw some Shining Force stuff she'd done on Craftster a few years back and squeed a lot :D
