Mario Star

[Hello Katie]

I'm making Mario Xmas ornaments, and I'm having trouble getting text into KG Chart. When I try, it jut comes up as a grey/black blurry rectangle.

I've attached the pattern I want - I'm doing it 8-bit style, so the star will just be yellow and black. Could someone pretty please make a pattern with the text working, or offer some tips on this?

If you want 8-bit, here is the star from Super Mario World (technically 16 bit but whatever). =P
Because it's so small, I decided to backstitch the font.

If you want the exact picture you posted, could you specify the size and the number of colours you want?
Then I could make the pattern from that information.

This is great! How did you do the text?

If you don't mind doing one with the original image, I'd like it to be pretty small - maybe about 5 inches tall? 2 - 3 colours is fine, since I'm going for the old school look.
