My first projects

Post by MrTroy »

A friend directed me to this site a few months ago and it inspired me to try a few for myself!

I apologize for the horrible lighting on some of these, it took me a few to figure out a good setup, so some of these look just terrible...

Crono, Marle, and Magus from Chrono Trigger

The 3 Gurus and the Nu, also from Chrono Trigger

From the original Metroid for NES, the first use of clear beads I have found :)

Mog from FF6(3)

Yoshi from Super Mario World

Mario stuffs: Koopa from 3, power ups from World

My 5 yr old wanted me to do Mario, so I tried a sprite from SMW but I didn't have the right flesh tones, so he ended up looking like a burn victim. My son didn't care, but I'll leave that one off :)

Thanks LiquidKarma! Just checking out your pics on Photobucket; I'm doing the same thing with my cubicle at work. It gets some funny looks, but I can't help but surround myself with these guys.

Can't go wrong with Chrono Trigger! Very nice:) Would love to see more!
I wish I could bring my sprites to work. I have one up.....they frown on personal stuff:(

Ugh, sorry to hear that ultimicea.

I'm going to finish off CT with a battle ready Marle (I didn't have the greys to do her crossbow then) and a third stage Lavos, bits and all. That should occupy the majority of my open cube wall space, although I'm thinking about taking out a shelf to make more room :)
