3d jumpman buisness card holder

Post by XplodingPenguin »

OK, so i had some free time, to transfer all the pictures, and get them online. i had fun making this project, it took me about 3 hours, from start to finish, including conception, finding sprites, figuring out where the beads needed to be removed, ironing, and putting it together. so here we go.

first, you make 2 exact copies of this sprite, with holes in the middle and all.

second, these 3 middle pieces should be made. I've edited part of the image, (poorly) but just to adjust a mistake i made.

after you are all ironed up, it should look like this.

next, you need to start on the base. there is a slight edit on the image, to correct where i messed up.
Image

this is the base for the whole thing, they are exactly the same, as far as i can remember.

these are the ends, i only changed the direction of the crossbeams for the fun of it. no real reason.

put it all together, and it looks like this.

i made this as a business card holder for a friend that works in an office. he absolutely loved it.

thanks, it was pretty fun, and i learned a lot about making the 3d things. i really want to make one of the 3d vehicles that (i think) dr octorok made. they are all really bitchin. i think that the tmnt turtle van will be my first.

i really like your etsy stuff, i bought countless christmas presents from there, this year. im pretty sure that your paragoomba, with babies was one of the first screen shots i saved from google, when searching for sprites to do. ive been meaning to make one myself. maybe i will frame it.
