The Star Trek Thread

Post by starrley »

Yes, The Star Trek Thread. Because Star Trek is awesome.
Our first item under discussion, continued from here: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=5394&start=10, is Worf's hair.
Here is the short do:

Here is the medium length bob:

And here is the grown out Klingon hair:

Right now I am currently watching this series with my boyfriend. I think we are almost on season 3 and he still has short hair, but I really like how the long hair looks on Worf. It just seems to suit him much better than the other two.

Used to watch this show when I was younger with my dad but don't remember much but I do love Worf!

I like Worf better with the mid length hair (though I don't mind when he keeps the long hair tied up) but I think that's because I really like the mid-season episodes.
I've seen that blog kuja.girl! Seriously hilarious!
On a side note, both Patrick Stewart and Jonathan Frakes are Down Under for a Sci-Fi convention in July. Problem is I'd have to travel across the country for it! Thoughts?

We've been going through DS9 on Netflix now that we're done reviewing TNG. I stopped watching DS9 before Dorn joined the show, so I'm interested in examining his role (and hair!) when it comes up.
Mostly hibernating here. Find me on Twitter @rmdcade.

My husband is determined to watch every single episode of Star Trek (while I on the other hand am doing the same thing with Doctor Who). Currently he's watching a mixture of DS9 and Voyager as they take place about the same time chronologically. I personally like Worf's hair long, but I would take medium. I do not like it short. It just looks....weird.....

If you can go, go! That's what I think.
There's a big convention in London starting 2 days after my birthday in October - it will have Captains Kirk, Picard, Sisko, Janeway and Super-Mechanic Archer. I REALLY want to go! But I'm not sure I will be able to, as I already have a planned trip to London on the 2nd November...and two trips to London might just break the bank for me >_<

Any way you could change the dates of your trip? Seeing all the Captains would be awesome, especially if you could get autographs! Or maybe you could get someone to pay for it for you (play the birthday card, it might work!)
