I want to make a cross stitch picture for my grandma for christmas. She is into painting, scrapbooking, and yardsaleing. I'm drawing a complete blank as to what to do and thought I would ask you guys for your thoughts.

What about stitching labels for her scrapbook pages? Like "Summer fun," "4th of July," "Friends," and that sort of thing. You could also get a blank scrapbook and stitch a neat cover for it. Like "(your grandma's name)'s Memories." Just an idea.

I like the labels idea...
Otherwise I thought of a frame to put on her wall (my grandma loves that...) ; I imagine a sort of tattoo design, with a yarn ball ; something like that, but instead of knitting needles, you could put painting brushes (because she loves wool and painting...). I saw this tattoo which I find pretty too...
