which final fantasy game for the ds should i get?
ive been looking at them on amazon and am a bit confused. :confused:
i know nothing about the series so where should i start???

The question is...which one SHOULDN'T you get :D

But really it depends on what you like. I'm not into tactic-style so I won't recommend those. Final Fantasy III for DS is good...if you want a remake of a classic try FFVI.

Since you have a DS i would recommend starting with the classics, try to find a VI or IV GBA cartridge. If you have a Playstation try to get your hands on VII. If you have a PS2 go for X or XII.

That's just my opinion anyway...

I agree with that! :D

I'd say go with FFVI as a starter game, it's easy to get into and has a wonderful story (not to mention a wealth of sprites to stitch!). I'd also recommend having a go at FFV - the job system is a lot of fun and the game itself is a corker, very amusing :D

As LiquidKarma said though, try starting with the classics: VI and IV are quality - and I'd add FFI to that as it's a gem of a game and easy to play through :moog

Definitely get IV at the very least.
You will end up getting them all once under FF's spell anyway. =]
