Hi everybody !
I would like to use the website Etsy to sell things, and all I can do is cross stitching. But it wouldn't be worth it for me to create things and send them away (really expensive to send thing abroad, etc) so I figured out it would be better to sell PATTERNS instead.
Does anybody do it here ? Do you actually have customers and so on ? I thought I would put the lowest price possible because even I wouldn't pay 4€ for a little pattern.
Is it useful to sell your patterns ?

I sell patterns on Etsy, on average for the last 12 months I made about $38 a month (About £24, 29€). I only charge $6 per pattern (About £4, 4.6€). Most of my patterns are large and complicated though I am trying to make them simpler. I mostly use the money to buy games from Steam.
I really need to put up some new patterns too.

I've only just started, and its good for a bit of pocket change, I haven't made enough to quit my job or anything...might work out to a few "free" 360 games every now and then!

Re: Is it useful to sell your patterns ?
I've been selling on Etsy for quite a few years now. I've got well over 1000 sales there, mostly cross stitch patterns. I also have shops on ArtFire and Shop Delighted. I would say, go for it. I don't make a living selling patterns, but it gives us a bit of spending money. Most of my patterns are $5, but I have a few that I charge more for (mostly 3D stuff).
