So the hubby's job has been up and down for over a year (we're a single income family - crazy right?) and that means that our paying of rent is up and down. And they're getting tired of it even though when we promise to pay rent we always keep our word.
I just feel like crying, and all the stress has been making me sick, so much so that I have a permanent cramp in my intestines and I'm worried I may have actual damage.
I just wanted to thank all of you for kinda being my support group. You guys are awesome.

You are most welcomem4pl3g1rl wrote:I just wanted to thank all of you for kinda being my support group. You guys are awesome.
I also hate money. I struggle most of the time to support myself, my daughter and my two siblings that live with me. So I can understand some of your situation.
I can also understand about the stress, because it's something I deal with every day. Try to remember that you aren't alone. If you ever need someone to rant at, my inbox is always open. The same goes for any of you!

Re: I hate money
I feel you guys pain too. My hubby just lost his job back on the 6th (granted through his own fault), but it sucks because the pay check he got we had to put into the bank ourselves and we only use an online bank so we had to scan the check and deposit it that way. It took us 3 tries for it to be accepted and by the time the bank actually registered the deposit, it was 2 days later, and on top of that we only get 200 of it until the 26th because it was over 500 dollars so it takes an extra week to get that money... So now, we are incomeless for the next 3 weeks or so until he can reapply for his unemployment (he was ineligable this time around because he didn't make enough money when they counted back 2 quarters ago since he had this recent job for less than a full year...).

Re: I hate money
*hugs*
I have been through some rough patches in the past (mostly due to a now VERY ex husband). I know what its like to have to decide between buying food, or putting gas in the car to get to work, to be able to pay rent with the next pay cheque. There is no easy way to deal, and it feels like you are trapped at times. But it will get better. And until then you have people here who care, and are more then willing to listen and give you whatever emotional support you may want or need.

I say back to a barter system! We reap what we sew then, and it is a bit harder to be sold short for your work *says with tongue in cheek*
Having said that I will admit I have never felt THAT hard up, but I can understand the feelings.
I know it is easier said than done, but try not let stress rule you.... It can't solve the issue and if it makes you sick it only makes the situation worse =(
What happens will happen, stress or not.
(probably not helpful but I am crappy with words

Re: I hate money
I can understand that. With me and my bf both full time students, we have to depend on the refunds from college, the IRS and the support he gets from his mother. Unfortunately her support ends this semester, so we are trying to figure out what to do for the summer until school starts again and we get refunds from the school again. All I can say is try to find a way to destress yourself a bit so that you aren't in so much pain. Plus we are all here to listen whenever you need it.

Re: I hate money
it's not that I'm saying I have more or much money, but I do earn a decent amount of money. What's lucking really is true happiness. Money is just not enough.
But, what I hate about it is that it's the source of all evil. It really is.. grrrr!
