Umm. I just thought I'd point out that the current banner ad is advertising 'Pornstar Secrets' and links to a search for '*' at Amazon.com.
I doubt that'd be considered appropriate for the site. >.>
Not sure it really needs to be -said-, as I'm sure some of our mods have noticed it by now.
But it's very distracting.

My banner ad is for 'Steampunk Jewelry inspired by Victorian Science Fiction' and has been this same one for a few days now - not sure if this is better or worse than adult ads
PM johloh about them, I seem to recall a similar problem with an un-related to crafts advert on the blog, I think it's something to do with Google Ads.
PMing me is the way to get my attention quickly if something is up on the site...we've had problems w/ political ads from adsense before. the ones on the forum are through project wonderful.
there are 4 geographic areas, us, canada, europe, and other...so different people see different ads.
there are no current bidders on that ad with anything pron related, so not sure what happened. I imagine that was something against their TOS and it got taken down after some people complained, which is why I see no record of it.
right now it is set to auto-approval of ads, because I dont want to have to constantly approve bids...but, I can change that in the future if it becomes a problem.
It's back to the steampunk jewelry ad for me as well.
But there was a full day where that was the only ad I got. o.o http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a294/ ... m/pron.jpg
NSFW... for obvious reasons. No direct nudity, but still..

yeah. thats definitely not something we want on the site. I still can't find a record of it to block them, so I assume they are removed from the ad site now.
