Does anyone make website banners?

I know this probably has nothing to do with this site, but since so many people are so good at making patterns, I thought I'd ask.
Does anyone make, or know anyone who makes, website banners?
I need a banner for my blog, and I've got some pictures in my head but I have no idea how to get them out. The title of it is "Chronicles of a Gamer Girl", and I'm picturing that done in very 8-bit style text. As for the graphics, I thinking maybe a variety of pink gaming stuff: DSi, PSP, Wiimote/nunchuck, 360 controller, iPod, GBA Sp (those are the pick things I own..I'm not sure it there is any I am missing). That's just the first thing that came to my mind...if anyone has these skills, or any better ideas as to what sort of graphics to use, I would appreciate any help at all. I recently got a video game journalism job with my local newspaper, and they asked that I make a blog...so I had to do it with really short notice and it's looking pretty sad

I don't make em for a living but I have made them in the past (not just banners for blogs either). While my web publishing skills are limited, I've been an artist for many years so design is one of my strong points and I'm pretty competent with Photoshop etc.
