Indeed. I think its important to be able to see progress, so even though I look back at my old cross-stitch pieces with disgust over the sloppy worksmanship, I use them as examples for comparison, things to take note of, what I have learned, and well, can't expect to be a expert from the start even if I always try to aim for such.
