I bet its a good way to pick on girls...show them you have a "sensitive" side.

I'm very ogranized. I keep all my threads in a large pile in a plastic grocery bag. its almost impossible to find a color when you need one... :D

I was using a bobbin box but I lost it. Now everything for this project is in 2 paper bags (that I got the thread in at the shop) - one for partial skeins and one for whole skeins. I have umpteen zippered bags around the house in which I can chuck scissors, thread bags, thread heaven, needles and my head torch (ESSENTIAL for stitching on public transport or in my house which is all ambient lighting) if I need to go anywhere.

Having Mars in Virgo, however, I really lust for organisation and will buy another bobbin box when I can afford it.
Fish, fish, my only wish!

I found a picture of my storage box I use with the StitchBows! It's on the DMC Facebook page...I'll toss a link!

I have a large bag full of threads, as well as keeping em in random boxes, baskets and on bits of desk :) I actually have a bobbin box, it's full of the colours I'm using for the epic pokemon stitching. I even have some stitch bows that live in my DMC travel bag, which is also full of assorted thread/needles/weird things that probably shouldn't be there. I'm slowly getting it all sorted but I'm easily sidetracked! :D

I wind my threads onto bobbins and keep them in the bobbin boxes, anything I'm using for a project gets put into a ziplock bag along with fabric, needles, scissors, chart etc. this way i know where everything I'm currently using is :)

I have five bobbin boxes and all but one is filled completely with bobbins of thread. The bobbins are in order by number and they go through the boxes numerically, for example Box 1 has 100s to 300s, etc. And for the record, the thread comes off the bobbin a bit kinky, but the kinks don't linger for long and it never shows in my work.
I also keep the thread I'm using for multiple projects in a smaller bobbin box, maybe half or a third of the size of a normal bobbin box and I keep all my needles and extra bobbins in that. I also label the thread sections in the box according to project so it's not nearly as confusing. I would like to try one of those travel cases but I'm afraid I'd need to store all my thread in a completely different way to do so and I'm not sure I'm dedicated enough for that. :D

My main organizational issue is that I really don't have any storage space for the bobbin boxes themselves so they're just kind of scattered all over my living room and it's a bit of a mess to store my Aida, so I need to figure something out quick before my boyfriend rages and tosses everything in the Friday trash, lol. Off to the Container store I goooo. :banghead:
