I will probably do a mix of all of those themes, but I also don't what to produce a lot of something that isn't relevant anymore. I would appreciate any help or ideas!!!

Etsy themes
I've recently decided that I want to try and sell some of the products that I make at modern craft shows, on etsy, and possibly at comic cons in the future. My biggest issue is that I'm not sure what would sell. I know what my interests are (and I'm still making items that fit me) but I hear a lot of talk about My little pony, Dr. Who, Pokemon, and Harry Potter. I would really like some feedback on what everyone here thinks of these themes or other ones if I missed any. Mostly I would be selling embroidered items for the time being, but I'm just starting to learn another craft that I am really excited about and once I improve a little I think I would be able to sell those items as well. Ill post pics and an explaination of what my new craft is once I improve a little
.

I say, try and do your own thing, be unique and stand out from the crowd.
With what you mentioned, it's difficult to not break copyright laws.
Also I suggest you remember the seasons we are in. At the moment something autumnal.
It doesn't hurt to do some market research either.

Yeah the copyright does make it more difficult. I was kinda thinking color themes and designs that go really well with that stuff rather than directly copying them. I'll have to test things out before I decide. Thanks for the seasonal idea! I always forget about them (I don't get true seasons where I live). I'll have to play around with that also.
