Everyone in England...

Post by Lord Libidan »

If anyone is around the London area this week/weekend, and want to get your stitch on, then Stitch & Crafts Show 2012 is on at the London Olympia!

The exhibition brings together knitting, embroidery, cross stitch and papercraft spread over 3 floors of London's Olympia. The show offers great shopping opportunities with over 150 companies selling specialist supplies, plus competitions, special features and workshops to help you get started or improve your skills. It's a great day out for three generations of crafty people - children, parents and grandparents enjoy the fun and inspirational activities on offer. Stitch & Craft is staged in conjunction with Future Publishing(whose magazines include Simply Knitting, The Knitter, Cross Stitcher, Papercraft Inspirations and Mollie Makes).
You can see people like Margaret Sherry, Jane Greenoff, Emily Peacock, Jessica Aldred and many more, including myself, Mr X Stitch (Jamie Chalmers), StitchFIGHT, Eliot BK, Beefranck, and Steotch, whom have a exhibition up for you all to see :D
Not only that but there are hundreds of shops and stalls for you to buy your weight in stitchy supplies!
Open Thursday (15th) to Sunday (18th)!
Leaflet!

Not only that, but our exhibition is going to Birmingham! And its the week after! So there's no excuse England. get your butts to one or the other! :P

Ooh I'd love to... if only I could afford the train ticket to London (believe me it's freakishly expensive!)
Might see if I can make the Birmingham show though! :D

When I went to England I almost fainted when I saw the price of a Ticket from Cambridge to London, its was only 1hr on the train... in Aus money it was $100 Then when I got back to Aus I stared in total disbelief at the fare from Emu Plains to Sydney which is also 1hr $8.90 :swoon: What makes it worse was when I left 6years before it was $10.20

Yeah, our fares are extortionate! I've just looked at the prices for me to get from Durham to Birmingham and back and it isn't exactly cheap either :O
And my boyfriend spent £200 to come see me recently, he lives in Reading (that's a 5 hour journey!)

Anyway, may still come to the Birmingham show!

When they come to Dublin in the fall I go. Can't afford to go to London AND buy crafty stuff! I'd be broke!
