In the past we have discussed the idea of a meet up of us in this great fair land
To which we decided to convene in the first and fairest city of the land
Sydney.

Historically speaking, there is a golden week in the Winter of Sydney that succinctly combines
our two main passions in the biggest versions of both events.
The Stitch and Craft show and Supernova.

The Stitch and Craft show being a week long extravaganza unto
which has been historically capped by the Sydney Supanova weekend.
Also historically speaking this holy alignment akin to snags and tomato sauce
includes the Queens Birthday Long Weekend,
for those whom are unable to chuck a sickie and get away.

Being the middle of winter, airfares, hotels etc will be lower,
but the Queens birthday will chuck a small spanner in that.

I also propose we could combine our talents and get
a stand in the artist ally at Supernova
To sell our geeky handmade swag
to offset the high impact effect
holiday, craft and anime-scifi shows
can have on ones finances.

I would be fairly keen, but as its going to fall in my exam block I won't be able to say yes or no till april at the earliest. Also how much is Sydney Supanova? Brisbane is around $70 and Adelaide $50

I actually read that in my head as John Howard! I would certainly be interested in making the trip over, I do love Sydney, however I'll probably need to start saving up now!

I would be interested being local at the moment and somewhat local from a months time (moving to Newcastle). I will be poor, buying a house and all; but interested =)

I think it was $45 for one day, not sure what the weekend pass/ early bird weekend pass/ friday night gala + weekend pass is etc.
