Bunny Chess Set

Post by m4pl3g1rl »

Interesting story - I woke up the other morning and had this image in my head of a chess set that was made of bunnies. I was able to take a day or so and whip something up. Posted it on a different website, and all I got was "well, it's ok, but it's not shaded". It kinda was, but when it was a normal 1 to 1 pixel viewing it was nearly impossible to tell. So I shaded it. And now I want to stitch it but I don't know how to make standees. (Looks very pointedly at BMH.)

Here are teh Bunnehs!

This was Bunny Chess 1.0

And this is Bunny Chess 2.0 with a new white color scheme and shading.

So . . . what do you think?

They are very nice! 1.0 was fine in my opinion, but 2.0 is better. And I love how they have a reverse side - they'd make awesome standees :D

You make me an awesome custom double sided sprite and I'll use it for a standee guide ;) (Saves me having to modify sprites again ^^)
In return, I will give you all the assistance I can in making a bunny chess set :D

Ahhhh I hate choices!
You decide for me! The only requirement is that the "front" and "back" are the same size and shape :)

How about this?

It was kinda hasty (sorry - migraine). I added a shading color, so it isn't the original. I figured it looked like he had a hood (although why would you want a hooded robe if you wear a hat) so I went with that. They're the same size.

I understand, I'm there myself >_<

OK this will do nicely. Although I do believe it's more of a cowl on the robe than a hood, it looks pretty good to me! Thank you! :D

I love this idea, and I love your execution. It's so cute!
They will look awesome as standees. As the proud recipient of BMH's Harvest Moon set, I can say that they look amazing in person, and are durable. You will definitely have a playable chess set. I am excited to see this project progress. :D
