Hey guys! I'm going to PAX East (video game convention) in a couple weeks and I'm on crutches. I was looking up some ways to decorate them, and I saw something about attaching battery operated lights on them, but nothing on how to do so. If anyone has any ideas on this, or any original ideas (geeky/video game related), I would love them!
Thanks!

I would so use acrylic paint on them if they are wooden. The only thing is that they may need to be sanded first and/or primed. Also you should choose something that works well on small scale (e.g. Mario sprites).

But yeah, if anyone has any ideas on how to attach the lights to the bottom part of the crutch, that would be amazeballz. Also, any original ideas are soooo welcome!!!

For a jury riggin idea... I'd suggest drilling a hole in the shaft and putting in LEDs and using clear silicone to keep them in place. Or you could just use clear silicone to attach the lights. I imagine the silicone would come off afterwards, especially if you spray coat the area first with a clear coat.

Re: Crutch Decoration HELP!
Most metal crutches already have holes in them so they can be adjusted. What I'd suggest is taking them apart and double checking if they're the type that are hollow. If so, you can just slip some LED's into the shaft and it'll glow out the holes.
My guess is that if they're standard crutches, you could easily put in anything that's AA battery or a bit wider. Even like a glowstick stuck in there would be simple, but probably work.
