Learning the hard way...

Post by lcockitt »

I'm sure we've all been there, done something without thinking it through properly, then realised how stupid it was.

I've been trying punch needle out recently, and those needles are sharp. So sharp, I've managed to cut my finger a couple of times. Didn't think anything of it really, until I ate a bag of salt and vinegar crisps. OUCH!

I used to work in a lab where we worked with specimens stored in alcohol... paper cuts were the worst!

Yeah, I work in a hospital. There's nothing quite like grabbing the alcohol gel on the way out the door at the end of a day and then having your hands flare up in agony as the gel finds all the paper cuts you've given yourself over the course of a day.

These things happen to me all the time. Usually though my lips are cracked and the I go eat salt and vinegar wings. Not fun.
