I can't decide if the big box is sad and the little one is trying to comfort it or if the big box is just really freaked out that the little box is so close.

Back after a long hiatus. The lowlights from the hiatus:

We took our second annual January vacation with my wife's parents (and her brother this time, too) to Florida. The 2012 vacation was awesome. The 2013 vacation was full of Florida relatives being racist and snotty, and nothing went right. Phooey.
There were like a thousand funerals in the past three months. The worst of it was that one of my wife's law professors - the best professor the University of Mississippi will ever see - died, and we took the long trek from Front Royal, Virginia to Oxford, Mississippi to attend. And then, two weeks later, my grandmother - also in MIsssissippi - died...
... and we didn't get to go to the funeral. We were planning on attending, but literally as we were packing to go, we discovered...
... that our bank account information had been stolen during our last trip to Mississippi for a funeral. So we had to stay home and deal with our bank.
And now we all have the flu, despite having actually all gotten flu shots.

During this whole crazy winter period, I've watched the new posts on the forum pile up, and it finally got too daunting for me to come in and get back into the swing of it. But at least being housebound with the flu has given me the impetus to start again. I haven't gone through all the project and pattern forums, but I'm at least starting clean with new posts as of today.

And since this is the anything-you-want forum: here's a massive star generating a bow shock as it breaks the speed of sound in space.
