I work for the provincial government in Victim Services as an Human Resources generalist. Since I've finished university, that's pretty much all I've done. I've had other positions in the government but they've just been stepping stones for my current job.

When I was younger, I worked many years at my city library. I loved it there. Working in the back room with the little old ladies. It was probably the best job ever. I kind of wish I had gone into Library Studies, instead of HR.

I also have a mini little side business making and selling cards. I am a demonstrator for a company called Stampin' Up but I mostly use that to buy supplies and make my own stuff. I'm not much for hosting workshops or selling supplies.

At the moment, nothing, Me and my Husband have been living and traveling in Europe for 6 months, another six months to go. All the travel we're undertaking is why I started up cross stitch :D

When we return I'm going back to studying Interior Design :D Can't wait. But jobs I've had in the past include, Florist, Media sales, Red cross, fast food outlets, call centres, admin and checkout. When I was working in London I work at a magazine that did book reviews, FREE BOOKS, epic! :yahoo:

Sorry for the late reply, I have been watching from the shadows for too long and thought it was about time I attempted to befriend people

Currently I am in school finishing up my masters degree in mechanical engineering with an emphasis in rocket propulsion. The day I realized I was a rocket scientist was one of the best days of my life.

I currently work as an engineer for a electrical connectors company. In the past I have worked as a CAD Operator for a few oil refineries, a tutor, a piping designer, in a pizza kitchen and at an amusement park.
Current projects:
Zelda Afghan (on hold until winter)
The Magnificent Wizard by Dimensions

I'm a part-time Library Page. I keep it all in order, put stuff away, and do random jobs ranging from breaking down cardboard, processing magazines, mending books, and proofreading pamphlets. I'm looking into getting back into school to actually end up a librarian.

When I am not there, I've got a 5 year old son to tend to, a 95 year old great-grandmother to help tend to, and a physically disabled husband that requires some other than typical assistance.

Father-and-son quality time playing video games means Mama gets quiet stitching time :-P

well until 4pm yesterday i had a clothes shop.

the company went into administration in January and they closed them down yesterday =(

I've done loads of different work over the years but that was always my main job.
Last year i went from doing bar work making cocktails to learning people how to stitch in some great places including the science museum in London!

I'd love to make another one soon in London but not sure where and who would come, seems the same few people come and i dont want them becoming a group that others would be scared to join because they all know each other. It happens in knitting and crochet meetings so I've been put off doing any this year =(

yeah i did =(

the buyer only took 300 out of 664 stores.
my store was in harringay north london and was told to close instantly. we had to tell everyone over the phone that they have lost their jobs, was the worst feeling knowing your about to ruin someones day =(

worst thing it that now im not sure i could carry on crafting without the income to buy supply's needed. might have to open a etsy store and earn some money from my stuff =)
