28 count... never again

Post by Aetius »

This was my second project ever, and I vastly underestimated how much of a pain it was going to be to work on the scale I did. The headband is 4 inches wide and the design is 100 stitches square. Glad to be done. On to my epic Mario towel!

Awesome work! I love it.
28 count is a pain...but the effects you can get with it are totally worth it! :D

:zelda I agree! Btw...today is my 4th wedding anni and my wonderful hubby got me a brand new 3Dsi....and i'm posting from it right now how cool is that! I really love the work though...you get used to 28 ct over time but lighting and sometimes magnification help a lot. :zelda

I'm surprised I didn't make more mistakes considering how complicated it is and how small the scale is. The R is shifted one pixel to the right from where it's supposed to be, but it ended up not being a problem. I'm just glad that everything lined up when I came around on something.

Little mistakes are uber common and personally i think it adds individuality to each piece!
