Childsplay's Chucky

Post by Sjeekie_Beekie »

Last august I started working on project Chucky.
It's going to be about 30 by 40 centimeters, on black Aida 18 ct.

I've just started a new study and I have to travel by train everyday for an hour and a half. Plenty of time to stitch along the way.

It's going to be a birthday present for my brother. His nickname is Chucky, because of his ginger hair and freckles.

I admire anyone who can stitch such big projects on black! I'd go blind, haha.
It's gonna be awesome when it's done~ :D

Okay, I'm just going to say it...I hate this project!! :) I'm sure you are stitching it beautifully and I definitely admire how absolutely huge it is but it's been 20-odd years since my first introduction to Chucky when I was a little girl and I still have nightmares. I can't be at home without hearing the pitter-patter of little feet behind me when I'm going up the stairs!!

Great job though! I'm glad you're not a scaredy-cat like I am. I don't think I'd be able to work on a project like this and just see his face come alive! Man, I sound like a freak in this post!!
