Perler Practice

Post by wrongitdoo »

I thought since I enjoy the horror genre, I would give a whirl in creating the stick man from the Blair Witch Project. It seemed simple and easy enough for a newbie like myself. The beads fused well (i think), though my ironing skills is a work in progress. Any tips as in the type of preferred iron setting? Silk? Cotton?

Your iron setting are really going to depend on a few things....first off, every iron is different; so your going to have to feel things out. Second, the size of your projects, the bigger your project the higher the heat you will want. I have done projects up to around 35 peg boards....so i had alot of heat transferring to do there. You will get better over time and learn by trial and error, i think thats the best way to learn. I have read alot of tutorials, but my experience has been the best learning tool.
