LatchHook Mario fish?

Post by 8BitMomma »

Hello all!

So I'm attempting latchhook for the first time since i was 12 lol. I need help making the patterns big enough for what I need though.
I want to make rugs for my bathroom. One of CheepCheep and one of FishBone-- like the first of both here http://www.geocities.ws/eight_ball_comics/fish.gif
I have Rug canvas that's 3.75 holes per inch. Would like Fishbone to be 20-25IN long. CheepCheep can be a little smaller. Not too picky here!
If anyone could help me out that'd be great! if you need any other info just let me know, :mush :mush

I've created some patterns where each pixel is actually 4 x 4 blocks, so these should work out to your finished dimensions of:

Fishbone: 25.6" x 16"

Cheep Cheep: 17" x 16"

On the second page of each PDF, the "stitch count" for each color is how many yarn pieces you'd need. I sized the patterns so they'd fit on a single page; if you'd like them enlarged let me know.

There are a few hollow spots in the Fishbone pattern; it may look cool to cut them out, or it may be weird, and better to just fill them in with probably the medium blue color; your call.
