I went to the post office to send mine out today. When I got back, guess what was in my mailbox?



QueenBex sent an adorable postcard, a handsomely stitched gecko card (I think it's a gecko! It's setting off my gecko-dar. Not an anole, right?), and a handwritten note of personable tone and fine penwomanship! Thank you, QB!~ I've got my reptile friend on display with my books, one shelf up from my prized Raktajino stitching.

Thats so strange to see a picture of it all!! Glad it got to you ok, didn't take too long to get there either!!

Sent mine today. I probably haven't been quite as exciting as others, but hopefully it'll be appreciated nonetheless. I'll try harder next time!

I'm glad you liked it - the postal service in the UK is obviously better than it's given credit for, I posted it yesterday lunchtime, so I'm impressed it made it there!

I finally got to the Post Office today to buy stamps, so my letter will be in the post tomorrow morning I hope it won't take too long to arrive!

I am having the most difficult time finding a postcard.. Been to three Canada Post locations and they all don't carry them. Guess I'm not in a tourist-y enough area lol I have one more to check tomorrow and if they don't have it I'm sending my letter anyway. I tried, pen pal, I tried!

I've been on vacation, but now that I'm home I'm happy to get started! Sounds like a great reason to get some new stationery. Maybe I'll throw in some vacation pics as well!

My letter will be sent tomorrow when I send out my swap gift. Typically anything I send state side takes a couple of weeks so hopefully it'll be where it needs to be around mid November. Awesome to see so many people already sending and receiving their letters though

I'm hopefully getting mine sent out tomorrow! It'll just be a greating card, because I'm pretty sure they don't make postcards for where I live And if they did, you probably wouldn't want one since my town is all factories and railroads. But at least I can say the paper I used will be pretty!
