Re: SEP-OCT - Mini Swap 2012!
Can I ask that anyone who registered at the forums recently or who have registered just to get in on the swap to ensure that you have either a) posted at least one project somewhere in the forums or b) link to a blog or other place that shows some of your work.
It's not personal or anything, it's just so that I know that those people are actual crafters etc.
Thank you!

Same here! though i'm just procrastinating about coursework.

Working on:
Retro X & Y! - lost the pattern and fabric, but it's resurfaced
...and i've lost it again lol
Attempting Diamond Painting
Making like three crochet blankets at once #nolife
slowly amassing floss for the old-style Epic Pokemon

I quite often procrastinate my course work to do crafts. Not always a good thing though as I am usually rushing at the last minute to do my work then.arkani wrote:

Re: SEP-OCT - Mini Swap 2012!
It's funny that this came up now, my coworkers were all confused to see me sitting and reading or playing my GBA on my breaks and were asking when I was gonna be making something for someone again! lol No rest for the wicked I guess. I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with now that we can go a little bigger.

I posted about some pokemon plushies I made viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5988 Is that enough?blackmageheart wrote:Can I ask that anyone who registered at the forums recently or who have registered just to get in on the swap to ensure that you have either a) posted at least one project somewhere in the forums or b) link to a blog or other place that shows some of your work.

I completely understand, it would be dissapointing to spend time and effort making something only to find out that your partner was only in it to get something not to give.

Re: SEP-OCT - Mini Swap 2012!
It is possible to do both, I find that If I knit in lectures I am less likely to fall asleep and end up taking more of it in. It does depend on the lecturers style and the type of project though. And it is quite difficult to craft while typeing up assignmentsrogueprincess20 wrote:I quite often procrastinate my course work to do crafts. hahaha! When I told my hubby I was signing up he litterally threw his head back and did a sigh/whine!blackmageheart wrote:I know what you mean! I haven't told the BF about the swap yet. NO MAN CAN STOP ME FROM STITCHING!
....I guess that could have something to do with the fact I did just finish 7 pieces for the CP Quilt lol.
