Hello!

My name is Saaema Aslam, and I enjoy making/reading about all kinds of video-game-themed crafts. I have a page on deviantART.com where I post my artwork, so if I link something on these boards, it'll take you to my gallery there. Baking is what I've done the most but I've given crochet, cross stitching, perler beads, etc. a chance as well (I should get around to posting those too!).

You guys are absolutely amazing-- I've been reading so much here. It's so awesome to see progress shots, completed works, discussions of trial and error, and more. I'm excited to be a part of this community and learn from everyone here while sharing what I can too.

Keep it up, guys!

Lets see. my name is matt and i found this site about 2 weeks ago and just made an account. I have never cross-stitched in my life, but within the past 2 weeks. I have started 5 projects that i will post here soon. Also, I have a problem now with trying to collect every possible color floss out in the world...
There is one project i have to finish first and will be shown on here. It's a bib that im making for my daughter Zelda :zelda(my wife allowed the name) when she enters the world in Nov. Hopefully people will like it since its my first time x-stitching and project.

Hi there and welcome to the forums! :)
Looking forward to seeing some nice work from you new guys :good:

@ TRONFACE - Love the name you have picked for your baby, game names are always good - my baby's name is Ivy (after Ivy from Soulcalibur) and her middle name is Alis (from Phantasy Star 1)! Also, nice avatar of the MCP from Tron! :nod

Hi! Everyone. my name's Dawn. I love to do counted cross-stitch. I'm always looking for free animal patterns. Is there a free full version on making patterns with those beads. I'm looking for one because I can't afford to buy one. :D

Hello!

I'm Kayla and I've been cross-stitching since I was thirteen (eight years now! sheesh!). I've got a tiny side-business where I stitch things for people - I just finished a Bach Cross for my mother-in-law, and I'm working on stitching chibi Snape, chibi Rorshach, and chibi Twoflower on a t-shirt for my friend in exchange for a ridiculously-expensive textbook. I started doing some of the patterns on this site about a year ago, and I can't tell you how happy that made my fiance; he's a geek supreme. :-) I actually did the Final Fantasy sprites for him for his birthday and sent it to him while he was in Iraq, all his buddies with him were jealous, lol.

Anyhow, that's all I've got to say. :-)

Peace!
Kayla

Cats are awesome, just not when you are cross stitching.

Hi, I am Marcy from Atlanta, GA & I'm new to this site.

I was looking for stitch forums and I stumbled across a bunch, but only two were really cool,

and this was one of them so I joined.

Hopefully, I will soon have some artwork that I think is good enough to post.

Until then, I'll just have to enjoy what is here.
