@jadely Yes! Latch-hook is actually mostly intended for rug-making. My problem is that since I spent so much time making this, I couldn't bear to walk on it. It will have a nice, prominent position on my wall instead of the floor.
It is quite fluffy and soft... and hot to have on your lap! I think latch-hook is a good winter craft, especially with a project this large.
