Hi, I'm Ultimicea! 33 From Canada and a Perler Sprite addict! Just started this weekend and can't get enough. Its so Fun!:)
I knit and make jewelry as well. Been browsing this site for a week now and i love it.
I think Legacy of Kain is next on my beading list.
Hi =D I like to sew, usually I make plushies, I do a little Xstitch too (little for sure!) and would love to get more into that! I love vintage games and how they are so perfect to stitch! Would love to try other things too like crochet and knitting, but all themed in geekery <3
I'm 31, living in Canada(from the UK) looking to spend the cold winter crafting!
I'm posting here to reintroduce myself.. I've been away for a while because I had some issues, but I'm going to try and browse more often now, and hopefully get stitching again. I haven't been able to for a while.
Hey peeps,
I'm Ashlee from QLD, Australia. I've been cross stitching since I was 6 (I'm now 24). I've stitched everything from a single flower to my most recent work; a mountain/river with a womens face in it (looks cooler then is described )
The idea of a craft website dedicated to video games is such an awesome idea...I'm a huuuuge fan of all things mario
Hi, I'm 28 and from the fine state of Michigan. I just got into cross-stitching but I always wanted to try it because my mother used to do it. I have tried knitting, but not crocheting, and couldn't get the hang of it, so I'm glad cross-stitching is much easier. (I also think being slightly compulsive helps more in this craft.)
I prefer more of the older NES games (Mario, MegaMan, Space Invaders, Pong, etc.) because that's what I grew up with but I like seeing other people's projects with the newer stuff. Once I get my NES going again (hardcore jonsin' now) I'll probably be asking for patterns to really obscure games, so apologies in advance there. I will get screenshots first though! Lol.
Anyway, I'm still working through the three patterns I bought off Etsy before I found this site. (Well, someone made some money off my enthusiasm.) And I found this site by finding the Home Sweet Home with the Mario castle posted on someone's Flickr account (I forget whose) which linked the blog somehow. I added the blog to my Google RSS feed and a few days later found the forums and was incredibly happy ever since.
And, yes, in the cold white North there is a LOT of winter time to cross-stitch, so all the Canadian members make perfect sense!
Hi, I'm Jade from North Carolina, USA. I love to paint and draw geek subjects, and I'm a sucker for anything felt and crafty. I've been gaming since I was a little kid, and I'm a big fan of video games both classic and modern. I'm currently working on a series of Team Fortress 2 cards, one for each type of character. Check me out at my blog, Geekreative (http://www.geekreative.net)!
