Pokedex Eevee Evolution Set *COMPLETED!*

update: I have added Jolteon.

Next is Flareon. I am using more orangish color that is more like to original drawing instead of original sprite because sprite has more purplish color in shadow.

I updated my first post.

2 more images added.

I changed the color of Flareon to more true to original sketch.

Espeon was little to modify the color - only one purple-scale color.


Next is Umbreon. The PC Stitch output of this is worst! I will tell you why in next update.

Try KG-Chart.
I find that it gives better colours than PC Stitch a lot of the time.

KG Chart can sometimes pick out the colours better than PC Stitch, but still check them before you start, sometimes it gets things wrong.

yea, never trust PC Stitch. I often compare output, original image, and all DMC colors I have. Sometimes actual DMC thread color does not match to RGB color, so I had to look between few sets of color.

Alright, the reason the worst output I got for Umbreon - it made highlight color match to midtone color, and it is very limited of grayscale. I went back to that image to brighten the highlight area more, so it would stand out. I looked few sets of color. Original image is giving gray-blue-scale color, but not enough color scale for that from DMC. Finally I picked up Beaver Gray, it looked much better with original sketch.

I finished Umbreon last night. It turned out great.

Next is Leafeon. This time, output of PC Stitch is favorable, so I am going with those color.

Leafeon is done pretty quick, thanks to Labor Day, which I had stitched all day.

Next is final evolution of eevee.
