Spider-Man! WIP
I found this awesome pic of Spider-Man from the arcade game "Spider-Man: The Video Game" and I thought it would be perfect to make for my son.
I took it out of the box for my pattern and altered it slightly.
Here's my WIP, it's on light blue aida:
It's 70x143 stitches on 18 count, am I going to be able to find a frame for it? I have lots of extra fabric on the side in case I have to add to it for an 8'x11' frame.

Check the 'art section' at your local thrift store. They usually have some odd sized frames, if you're think 5x7 might be a squeeze? I've seen 6x6s for a few bucks, even with matting!

You could look for a trio photo frame. Then put your own matting in. I've done this with a similarly weird shape piece.

@acidMiasma my dad goes all the time so I'll get him to look for me
@Lord Libidan good idea although now I'll be going to every store with a measuring tape in my purse
I've gotten a lot done since both me & my husband are currently on vacation.

Re: Spider-Man! WIP
Here's an update.
I'm actually a lot farther now but it's too dark out to take a picture with my cheap camera. Since this pic I've finished all the yellow & almost all the dark red. Last night I stitched so much that my hands were cramped all day.

Re: Spider-Man! Finished!
I've actually had this finished since Christmas but I have been enjoying it in my room instead of hanging it in my son's room. This weekend it will finally make it into his room though.

I love it. It's understandable that you wanted to keep it for a bit. Nice work!
