Here's what I got and it's almost perfect (only a stitch off on one side from 6". http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00114 ... UTF8&psc=1loafoftoast wrote: Thanks for the quick answer, but it doesn't even look like I can use this fabric anyway, because while its more white than cream it keeps coming out to 5 5/8 x 6 1/8 or 5 1/2 x 6 depending on where in the giant roll I measure. So now I shall sit in the corner and glare at it until next weekend when I shall try AGAIN at the three different stores I've been checking for Aida.

Haha! Just talking to my husband about getting that for the Game of Thrones/Mushroom Kingdom map pattern and turning it into a group of smaller pieces either framed together or hung together instead of one huge one (I don't think I could work with the 28 count the pattern calls for. lol).
Actually was thinking about this one: http://www.amazon.com/DMC-CS1633-6750-C ... m_sbs_ac_1 Now that I look at the price of yours...I'm thinking someone made a mistake somewhere. lolol

Re: Charity Quilt(s) 2013
I am soon going to be finished with my second square, and am looking for a 3rd. I have an image I want to do, but I noticed on the sign up sheet that others are doing images from LOZ (the first game) and wanted to check to make sure the one I picked wasn't one of them, as it's also from LOZ.
If no one else is doing this one, then I will proceed.

I was under the impression there could only be 1 square per game.

I found this in the initial post for this thread.Lileya wrote:I was under the impression there could only be 1 square per game.
It seems you are right. I did go look at the google doc again and it looks like the other LOZ's are from other LOZ games in the series. Mine is from the Original LOZ, so it should be ok I think.tnitnetny wrote:* Please only one scene per game to make the quilt(s) interesting. Games from previous years can be repeated, but try to do a different scene. Let's try to make each year unique.

Sorry I must have misunderstood, I thought you meant somebody else picked LoZ (the original game) and you wanted to make a LoZ square too. If nobody else picked this specific game, I'm sure it's fine then!

Re: Charity Quilt(s) 2013
Let the heavens rejoice for I have found a suitable piece of fabric!!! I ran to the store down the road to try and look in the 20 minutes between me leaving for work and the bus getting to my stop and there it was, a piece of 16 count white. I tried not to get my hopes up until I measured and counted, but I still got weird looks for laughing maniacally at a bag with some cloth in it. And then! Lo and behold I get to work and count it up and it's 1 stitch off in one direction and 2 off in the other. I have succeeded!
Scuse me while I do the boogaloo!
