Simplified Hogwarts Crest

Post by Kareesh »

I needed a break from my charity square and all those blues, so I finished this project which I had started back in December. It's a pattern by little mojo which I found at The Leaky Cauldron. Done on white 14-count aida. I also attempted the signature which QueenBex made for me. I think it looks pretty good, though I'm going to have to work on it a bit more.

Also, I made a mis-count somewhere, so the whole crest part looks crooked. I didn't find that out until it was too annoying to have to rip out pretty much every single stitch I had made. Oh well....

Thanks guys. My husband says he can't see it either, but it totally bugs me. If you look at the bottom of the crest, where Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff end, then you'll see that they aren't centered with the gold decoration. That's the part where you can really tell. The other parts mainly only I notice. Oh well. It was a nice short project which I actually finished. Yay! :D
