i love em both. i just recently recreated the stitching from chickpea981's version into a pattern. i would love to stitch it, maybe swapping out the bottom two sprites with Mario and maybe DK, or maybe mario and luigi.

I really liked the stitching, but not the sprites in the corners, so i swapped them out for my favorites, and i think it turned out well, except for Link. I might redo that one, but i'm not sure if i will.
