While packing for our trip I just remembered to snap some photos - unfortunately one of the hats has already been gifted and had the most complex stitch on it (Akane from Ranma 1/2). Here are the others:
the Apple dogcow ("Clarus"), used to show the orientation of a printed page
Darth Vader from "Yoda Stories"
Megaman cracking open a cold one - I can't find the image credits but will post.
Bit.Trip Runner
A batter wearing Boston Red Sox colours. This one took a lot of hand-editing, and I ended up being dissatisfied with the end-result because it looks too much like a classic cross-stitch :-P

I can see what you mean about "classic cross-stitch" - but I think that it gives it some bonus charm. To each his own, I suppose.

Re: xmas gift projects complete!
I've been using quite a lot of waste canvas lately, but no - these were done on 10ct or 14ct plastic canvas and then secured onto the hat with some clumsy stitching. Usually I iron an adhesive fabric patch to the stitches on the back of the piece but I got these done at the last minute and was feeling lazy. Worst cast scenario the plastic canvas piece will come loose and can be re-secured (I hope)klammyq wrote:Those are all really cool! Do you use waste canvas, or...?
