Doctor Who pumpkin

Post by comatosegrl »

I figured since it was so close to Halloween I would post my pumpkins that I did this year. The first I made a Tardis pumpkin for me. The other two I did for my two girls. Hope you all like!

Love the tardis :)

Is carving pumpkins hard to do? I have never tried. I know they are hell to cut up for cooking

Thanks! Carving pumpkins isn't terribly hard to do, but they are very time consuming! The Tardis took me about 2 hours to do.

Wow... so cool !!! impressive... :good:
Mine is very classical ; I must have spend an hour, not much... can i ask you what kind of tools you use to carve them ? I did use a very pointy knife, the one I usually use to cut vegetables :) so my work is not precise.

I love your face on your pumpkin! I always have an arsenal of tools when I do my pumpkins. I use a drill, 2 exacto knives of different sizes, 4 saws that come with those pumpkin carving kits, and a normal kitchen knife.

Thank you Comatosegrl :")
Pumpkins carving kits ?? Interesting... I've never heard about that !! In France we usually don't pay much attention to Halloween (but I've heard that this year, they have sold 20% more of halloween stuff than last year)...

You're welcome! I'm sure you could find a kit somewhere in France, online if anything. Here is the one I bought this year.
