SO... once we have our pattern do we post it or do we just hope that we aren't all thinking of the same thing? ;)

Re: AUGUST Challenge - Back to School!
I'm excited about this challenge. At the beginning I wasn't very enthusiastic about the topic, but after a nice brainstorming session, I got some cool ideas. I've already created one pattern with an idea for another.
On that note, are we able to have more than one submission?

Hmmm, one month. I may not be able to participate this month. If I get an idea after I get my things together for the Baltimore Comic Con that I will try to throw a lap quilt together. If I can't, I may be able to stitch something while at the booth.

Re: AUGUST Challenge - Back to School!
Woohoo 3 day weekend!Camping had been in the works, but due to weather and fire restrictions I got to do a weekend of stitching instead
Here's my submission (I have an idea for a second one, but it will be a bit more time consuming...)
I went with the life lessons learned from video games sort of school theme - after my last project it was nice to be stitching white on black instead of black on black

It's only the 1st August, maybe you'll have time? It's up to you if you want to submit a second piece!spinuntilyoufall wrote:(I have an idea for a second one, but it will be a bit more time consuming...)

LOL! I love it! I started mine last night - it's about half way through. I'm trying something new and stitching 1x1 on 28 count, so it's going to be micro!
