Haha I have a basket stand beside my chair that keeps all my cross stitching materials and it's full with unfinished projects because I lost my patterns for
Haha yeah kids do that to us! Doesn't help that I have a bigger baby (my boyfriend) who hates it when I am stitching because it means I not with him every moment(including sleep) so I don't get much time during the day or night to do it - but I push my hardest to get it in!
I've been visiting this website for a few months now and have decided to stop lurking and join in! I'm relatively new to the world of cross stitch but am enjoying it and am currently working on a large and over-ambitious first project... none other than a Zelda map I discovered on this site!
Must admit I'm in awe of a lot of the beautiful things on this website - hope I can live up to these high standards!
I just started posting a couple days ago, although I've been following the site for at least a year. I'm currently living in Toronto, and I've been stitching for probably 15 years, even though I'm only in my 20s. I've been a crafter my whole life and my husband makes video games so this site is the best of both of our worlds! For our wedding a couple months ago, I stitched little video game gift tags for all of our favours! Luckily, I only had 30 guests so it wasn't that enormous of a task. This site inspired most of those little stitches so thanks for being around!!
I'm probably working on approximately 5 cross-stitch projects right now. I'm also an avid scrapbooker! Hopefully, I'll have something to share with everyone as the months go by! I can't wait for the September challenge too!

Hi everybody! Since i'm new here i guess i'll make a little introduction ^_^ My name's Marylene (and that's where my nickname come from. Reverse it, remove the first and the last letter and it's done, hurray!), i'm from Québec, Canada and french is my primary language (Bonjour!). I stitched waaay back when i was like...maybe 12? And these day i've been pretty bored so i gave it a shot again and just became completely addict! I've met a girl on deviantart who introduced me to this forum so here i am! My goal is to make the epic pokemon generation 1 stitch and connect with people who share the love of craft and gaming!
Sorry about my english, french is my primary language!
Hi I am Brandon, my wife got me into cross stitching. I have been playing videogames since as far back as the original release of the nintendo system and have played/owned every videogame system released in the united states since the atari. I enjoy cross stitching but I am a little slow at it as I goto college full time, and work on other building projects in my spare time as well to name a couple. Woodworking (building tables dressers etc.) working on my lifted offroad mud truck, and my most current project is a pair of offroad rollerblades with 10" tall tires on them. I have also hand drawn several designs for cross stitch which I will take pictures of and post as I get more firmiliar with the site. I live in Minnesota the land of 10,000 lakes and if anyone has any questions for me please feel free to ask.
Hi I'm Miranda from Texas. I'm 29 and a full time wage slave to a ungrateful public.
I've been stitching for a few years now and I'm just good enough that I'm ok with showing people the back of my work. I've got so much stuff stitched now that I mostly stitch as gifts for others, when I have time during a 40 hour work week. I tend to stitch pokemon and anime since my friends like that.
My weakness is designing patterns so I want to thank everyone here for their wonderful work and I look forward to being able to ask the talented people here for help and guidance.
