Amusing Patterns for Onesies
With my nephew turning one next month, I'm working one some cute cross-stitch patterns to put on onesies for his gift. ^_^ So far I've got just two designs.

I'll update this as I think of more during the week while I'm finishing up my craft swap projects, but if anyone has any suggestions let me know! I've got 5 to make if I can.

Re: Amusing Patterns for Onesies
Well, ideas have been just as easy for me to make as they seem to be for people to suggest. Here's another I just finished designed off the onesie on Think Geek:

All of the patterns you posted are great. Although I must admit I got a huge kick out of that last one.

Hilarious! How do you get them on the clothes in question? Just stitch them right on or?
Thanks!
Thanks!

The best way to get them on is to use waste canvas, and you can find it at most art/craft stores with the embroidery supplies. What it does is provide a grid for you to work you stitching on by having you stitch over it and the clothing in question. Then when you're finished, you just pull the threads out and voila! You have your very own custom embroidered piece. ^_^Wwena wrote:Hilarious! How do you get them on the clothes in question? Just stitch them right on or?

At my AC Moore, they have 14 ct water soluble paper. You stitch on that and the cloth you want the design on, soak it, and its gone! I haven't tried it yet, but when I'm finished with the few projects I'm working on, I plan on stitching on clothes.Wwena wrote:Hilarious! How do you get them on the clothes in question?
