OMG, I'm totally downloading this and when my geek friends start having kids, I'm totally going to do this for them. If I was having kids, I'd totally do this for them.

yeah the thread got hijacked by another project. I've been too busy to work on getting the original done. I'll be at it again though this summer.

Regarding johloh's original post, I'm looking forward to seeing that pattern! I would personally prefer to stitch it all as one piece, but I like its flexibility to be used as individual letters.

Hi, I'm new here, and new to stiching  I have to tell you, this alphabet is amazing!!! I've been lurking for a long time, drooling over all of the beautiful projects every one does, and it's made me REALLY want to get into cross-stitching. Probably about a year ago I was looking at how-to's on-line, and I even went to the local craft store and window shopped down the stitching aisles, but I never took it any further because I never knew what exactly to make. I was overwhelmed by so many great ideas! The other reason I never started anything was because I figured I would get tired of hanging random framed work around the house and I was trying to decide on some sort of theme. But this alphabet idea is awesome, and perfect! I am definitly going to be starting it in the next couple days! So hello to everyone, and now that I've finally registered and committed to start stitching you'll probably be seeing alot more of me on here!

I do have a question though, with the alphabet, I think all of the letters excpet for Z are NES games. But for Zelda you did the SNES Zelda. Would it be too much to ask you to make a pattern for a Z picture using the original NES Zelda? :link

And hello again to everyone, great work on everything!!

These are awesome. Any chance of a Metroid one?

Johloh, if you're still looking for a "Y", the first thing I thought of was "Yars' Revenge" for the Atari 2600. It began as a port of the arcade game "Star Castle", so it has it's roots as an arcade title. Plus, seeing as how Yars' Revenge was an Atari game, there's a very real possibility that it's been in an arcade cabinet at some point or another. Just a suggestion. ^_^
