I got married in September and we had a nintendo themed wedding. My husband and his gamer friends still talk about the wedding and all the projects I did with my friends to pull off the theme. I thought if anyone could appreciate our hard work, you guys would! Any questions about the DIY projects and I'll gladly answer!

Our card box was made by myself, using two round boxes painted green and black. The two on the side were made by a friend. the heads were made from styrofoam balls/clay/paint and supported with wire from a wire hanger and clay, the pipes made of small boxes. All found at a local michaels.

Our cake was made after the popular nintendo cake thats been googled by everyone. The cake topper was made by a friend along with the chain chompers. The cake topper was made of clay and the chain chompers were made from styrofoam balls, painted and the chain was made of pipe cleaners.

Our banner was made to resemble our cake topper and the saying is a take on the popular and well hated phrase, "im sorry mario, but your princess is in another castle"
But our favorite touch on the whole wedding were the favors. This was a project that myself and two of my bridesmaids helped me to accomplish.

We bought the boxes in bulk and assembled them, then we personally glued each question mark on each side of the box. We made 400 of these using 2600 question marks. We filled the boxes with chocolate coins.

People lost their minds over the favors. All night you could see guests going around and hitting the bottom of the boxes.
