Hello all,
I'd like to stitch Idril's device to continue my Tolkien stitch journey.
I've finished Luthien's device and I want a similar size / color count.
The previous one was 11 colors and 240 square radius which is linked below.

and I want to thank Hrontajkpa for creating the first pattern as i love it very much.
thank you very much in advance,
Irem

Re: Tolkien's Eldar Heraldry - Idril's device
Hello, since there was no response, I tried myself via online tools but i failed to create the color transitions to be crisp.
It has too many colors, even first I posterize and limit the colors on gimp than use the online sites.
Could you please let me know if there is a way to limit the colors to 11ish and make crisp transition on a free website?
previous one was 12 colors and is 240 squares wide by 240 squares high.
I really want to do this one as it will complement my other device.
thank you,
Irem

Hi ovi,
I like it, but just a question. do you think there is a way to make the color transitions sharper? like the silmarillion pattern? (meaning the circle around is only black and not grayish etc)
I cannot find a way to do it, it'd really make it easier for me and I can align two patterns when I hang them on the wall they look similar.
thank you very much for your response

That looks fun, I may have to start stitching these as well
Its always a bit of extra work to make colour transitions nice and clean, but it ends up looking so much better when stitched that its worth it
