Oooh, I'm so tempted by the thought of Stardew Valley stitching. I hadn't played it in a little while but they just released the multiplayer open beta so I've been all over it again lately.

When I first got the game, I had to uninstall it from my computer and put it on my dad's PC because self-control wasn't working. Then I got it on the switch and got trapped again. And now it's back on my laptop now that multiplayer is out. It might be a trap, but it's quite an enjoyable one

Re: Stardew Valley Stitches!
Yaaay the forums are back!
I've been up to a lot during that time, so I won't swamp you guys.
A new portrait is finished; Maru!
There's been a lot of small stuff stitched, like these crop magnets.
And I finally announced WHY I've been stitching so much Stardew stuff lately.
Those of you that have been following this thread for a while know that I was in the Stardew Valley beta back in the day and started stitching the sprites well before launch. Well I finally worked up the nerve a year ago to ask CA if he'd be cool with me writing a pattern book.
Aaand it's happening! I've been working nonstop on it ALL YEAR with Kari Fry and Ryan Novak of Fangamer. (You guys might know their work from the Stardew Valley Guidebook.
There's a preview up now with some free patterns: https://www.fangamer.com/products/stard ... oss-stitch
And you can sign up to be notified when we finally decide on a price/ launch date.
I am far too excited about this. I hope the popularity of Stardew will get a ton of new faces into cross stitching and help grow the nerdy cross stitch community. And maybe inspire more games to put out official pattern books once they realize there's a demand for it.

That is absolutely amazing, go you!
I literally just started playing Stardew Valley last night (it's the first time I've had time to put a few hours into anything lately) and I'm hooked! I'll have to have me this book!
