This is my first real project. Before this all I had done was simple shapes, a 3d star, 3d dresser, and dice. simple things.

Behold my Awesomeness!!!: (needs ironing sorry)

Admittedly I'm having to get creative to iron the darn thing! Then some beads fell out,. its been a trial lol.
But it is complete and I have to share it with EVERYONE!!!

It looks really great. I'd say your first big project was a success so long as the iron cooperates. But I may be prejudiced since I love anything FF7...

I was about to start drooling. I thought it was Sora from Kingdom Hearts. Then I seen it was Cloud when I scrolled down. It looks amazing! Great job!

thank you thank you :D

this thing has given me trouble with ironing tho.. bought some wax paper and it just stuck to it..

any ideas on what to use the next time i do a large one like this? i really hate those small sheets that come with the beads...

I don't know if you have a Hobby Lobby close by but I found the ironing paper there and it was alot bigger sheets. When I do large projects then I just use several papers to cover the whole thing and just iron away. It's easier to me than to pick up the paper from what you already ironed b/c if there are beads that haven't fused yet they will come up and you'll have to fix it again.

And here's a pic of Sora that I have.

You should be able to buy a roll of parchment paper from any grocery store. It's the best bet for ironing big projects.

doesn't look to bad, i'll give it a go soon. got a couple things my son an husband want first lol

and thank you both for the suggestions on the paper to use. never heard of a hobby lobby, but i saw some parchment paper, but was scared it would stick too since it just felt weird and not waxy,. but now i'll pick some up tonight :D

Is that what the ironing paper is, parchment paper? Maybe I should try that instead of buying the perler brand paper.
