A new project I started. Anyone have some ideas on what might improve it? Painting the wood, more beads on top or something etc. Opinions appreciated.

this is really cute! More beads on top - wider and then narrower. Painting the wood white - but be sure that the lid isnt too tight - even though paint only put on ½mm it can be enough to make it difficult to open if its already tight.

Yea. The unfinished one I have, the lid is very loose so I think I'll try it on that one. I'll post when I get it started.

Awesome stuff!

I now have something to aspire to.
