KG Chart won't open the sth. files

I've had Kg Chart before but it hasn't been on my pc for a while. I just downloaded it again and it won't open the sth. files. Could someone suggest a solution or am I not remembering which files it will open? Thanks.

As I've heard, the most recent version may not be free, or have all of the features without paying for it. There are several threads that have links to download older versions, here's one: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4879#p38449

Not sure if that's what's going on, but worth a try.
